Policy: I, the undersigned teacher, do hereby choose and consent to voluntarily join the Uganda National Teachers’ Union (UNATU) in accordance with Article 40(3) (a and b) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda (as amended). I therefore authorize the Employer to deduct one percent (1%) of my gross salary and remit it to UNATU as my monthly subscription, effective from the month indicated below. This authorization shall remain valid until withdrawn by me as provided for by the Laws of Uganda.
