OUR CORE MANDATE 

UNATU was formed to advocate and bargain for improved living and working conditions of our members/teachers.

The main service we offer to members is negotiation (Collective bargaining) for better welfare and general work conditions.ย 

Who WE are

Uganda National Teachersโ€™ Union abbreviated as UNATU is a National Teachersโ€™ Labour Union.

UNATU is also formally recognized as a Public Service Union under the Public Service Negotiating, Consultative and Disputes Settlement Machinery, Act 2008.
