• UNATU convened the 2025 Branch Chairpersons’ Meeting at Teachers’ House to assess progress on union activities, review government engagements on teacher issues, and agree on strategic way forward actions.

• The National Chairperson emphasized leadership mindset transformation, proactive planning, sustainability, and strengthening UNATU’s credibility and capacity in a changing labour union environment.

• The General Secretary reminded leaders of the 19th ADC resolution calling for diligence, teamwork, and delivery of quality, timely services to members.

• SIMAMENI Project conducted gender sensitisation sessions for community leaders in Western and Teso Regions.

• SIMAMENI Project retooled teachers on School Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV) to promote safer learning environments.
