The Uganda National Teachers’ Union has launched the EQUIP 1000 Digital Skills Training Programme in collaboration with Uniek Ideas Consulting, with an onboarding session aimed at preparing selected members to begin a three-month online learning journey.

Branch staff and their respective Chairpersons from UNATU’s Eastern Region have been urged to strengthen branch office management, improve membership data tracking and enhance accountability in the day-to-day operations of the Union.

A total of 112 youth teachers from across UNATU’s Eastern Region have been encouraged to actively participate in Union work, embrace leadership opportunities and position themselves as 21st-century educators who are informed, skilled and ready to contribute to the growth of the teaching profession.
