Simameni Project Workshop on SRGBV Prevention in Bukedea and Ngora Districts Emphasises the Role of Key Stakeholders

On October 7, 2024, the Simameni Project facilitated a workshop on School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV) prevention at North-East Villa Country Resort. The event aimed to strengthen the capacity of Board of Governors (BoG) and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) committees within Bukedea and Ngora Districts to address SRGBV in their communities. UNATU Inspires Lango Sub-Region Youth to unite and embrace leadership

Lira City, 25th September 2024 – The Northern Region Youth Meeting convened at the Grand Pacific Hotel, bringing together 123 youth representatives from all districts within the Lango sub-region. The meeting was organized by the Uganda National Teachers’ Union (UNATU) with key speakers including the General Secretary, the Regional Vice Chairperson Northern, and branch chairpersons. The gathering focused on empowering youth within the teaching profession and advancing their understanding of union matters and welfare.
